Our Mission

Founded in 19XX, the Rust College International Alumni Association is an independent organization governed by a volunteer board of elected officers. It is governed by the Bylaws developed in 1971, spearheaded by former Association President William (Bill) D. Scott, III.

Mission Statement

To promote the cause of Rust College and its  environment, and provide a channel for friendship and stewardship among Rustites and Rust College; provide communication between the College and the Alumni through programs, meetings, and activities; assist with student recruitment at the local, state, national and international levels for the College; assist the College by providing networking opportunities, student scholarships, internships, mentorships, and other initiatives; assist new alumni to find jobs, graduate schools, and other professional schools; assist in providing financial resources to meet future demands so that Rust can remain in the forefront of the educational enterprise; provide hospitality to Alumni relocating into a new area; assist the College in its legislative goals and objectives.
